Jen Taylor has spent the last decade working in the veterinary world, caring for cats (and their worried humans) every day.
She holds a feline nursing diploma, internal medicine nursing certificate, and is currently studying feline behaviour, and has years of hands-on clinical experience as a veterinary nurse across referral, teaching, and primary care practices.
Starting My Three Cats Bury is a way to combine her veterinary knowledge, client care experience, and lifelong love of cats into something truly wonderful.
At home, Jen’s world revolves around her three rescue cats:
Chester, her ginger and white boy, found as one of a box of abandoned kittens at her very first practice.
Phoebe, a tabby and white sweetheart who was dumped in a carrier at a roadside and brought in to one of Jen’s practices.
And Mickey, a very distinguished 16-year-old ginger gent, recently adopted after his owner passed away – because Jen couldn’t bear the thought of him being overlooked in a rescue.
Older cats, anxious cats, “nobody else understands them” cats are Jen’s speciality. She’s affectionately called “The Cat Whisperer” by nursing colleagues because she strives to truly understand the cats in her care, and knows those who lash out do so often due to fear or pain.
